The Lanikai Juice Co. staff serves up fresh, not frozen smoothies.

The sweet aroma of fresh fruit is the first thing to greet you in this truly tropical and unique store. At the Lanikai Juice Company, fresh fruit is king here, where the walls are decorated with fruit arrangements, and baskets are filled with local produce gathered from all over the island. Lilikoi, avocados, mango, papaya, bananas, and even exotic delicacies like dragon fruit from Kauai can be found here. Their produce is for sale by the pound, but more importantly it is the main ingredient in all their smoothies. "The difference at our store is we try to be loyal to the way a smoothie is supposed to be made, all natural using fresh fruit." says owner Pablo Gonzalez.

"When you make smoothies with fresh fruit, you keep all of the nutrients and power from the fruits," he adds "which is why our customers say our smoothies give them energy and keeps them healthy." Pablo, who has owned the business for six years, prides himself in using only the best products in his smoothies. "We use only fresh squeezed juices as the base for the smoothies, instead of sugar-filled concentrates like most other juice bars. We use organic fresh, not frozen, nonfat yogurt, organic soymilk, granola, and local honey. You can also choose from a variety of supplements, such as calcium, bee pollen, protein, or spirulina to supercharge your smoothie. In addition to almost every type of berry, or fruit filled smoothie imaginable, at Lanikai Juice, but you'll also find a big family atmosphere within a small business, where the spirit of sharing and aloha are at home.
