| "We're exited about the number of nominations that were submitted this year," said Molly Mosher-Cates, KCO retail board chairwoman. "There were a total of 42 businesses nominated and over 200 nominations. "The annual awards are a great opportunity to let the businesses know how much they are appreciated!" Nomination forms were published in Midweek's Windward Island paper. Mosher-Cates said several people attached extra pages to write up there praises of local businesses. Honorees are listed below: - The Quality Service Award went to Briggs Christie, Robert Beard and Jon Voigtlander, owner of Oahu Dive Center ; and Pablo Gonzalez, owner of Lanikai Juice, who was joined by store manager Tamara Valdaviva. |
